Night Cap Serum
After two years of exhaustive formulas, lots of testing and countless iterations, Island Apothecary believes they've created one of the best anti-aging blends on the market: the Night Cap Serum.
You'll find many of the ingredients in our Night Cap as you will in similar serums that are four times the cost. We're staying true to our principles: access to organic, healthy ingredients for your skin should be affordable for all.
Inside this serum are some of the most potent anti-aging tools around. We recommend applying it to clean skin right before bed.
Evening Primrose Oil: Highly regarded for natural anti-aging properties thanks to the GLA (Gamma-Linolenic Acid) it contains, which will strengthen your skin's barrier with use.
*Black Cumin Seed Oil: A standout oil that's rich in fatty acids which helps cell turnover in your skin, taking years off your face and revealing a glow. Ours is sourced from Israel. And we lurve it.
*Pumpkin Seed Oil: Turns out all these seeds that are good to eat are also good for your face. This oil has essential fatty acids and antioxidants to keep skin supple.
*Tamanu Oil: This oil can only be sourced from Southeast Asia where the Tamanu trees grow. The tamanu fruit is cold-pressed to produce this oil, which natives believed to be a sacred gift from nature. Great for acne-prone skin, but also has natural properties that help with scarring and rashes on the skin. It's crucial for helping with cell regeneration which in turn, helps your skin look younger.
*Sea Buckthorn Oil: Too many amazing qualities to list. High in Vitamin C, Sea Buckthorn Oil is found in most "high end" serums because it's pricey. And it's pricey because it's amazing. 60 free-radical killing antioxidants are in it, which helps in cell regeneration and it even helps block UV rays.
Apricot Kernel Oil: Derived from the kernel of an apricot, this oil tightens skin's elasticity and even acts as a mild astringent.
*Vitamin E Oil: VItamin E is crucial to helping produce more collagen in the skin, which helps keep wrinkles at bay.
*Palmarosa Oil: A calming scent that can help ease anxiety and nerves, which is helpful before falling asleep. A slightly sweet, floral scent that comes from grass in Nepal.
*Lavender Essential Oil: Lavender helps you sleep and it smells lovely. It was a no-brainer when it was time to add a little scent.
